Dietitian and Nutrition Services in Perth

Practical, evidence-based Dietetics for disability, complex feeding needs, chronic health conditions and everyday wellbeing.

U & A Homecare’s Accredited Practising Dietitians provide personalised nutrition support for children, teenagers and adults across Perth.

We support NDIS participants, Medicare and DVA clients, and privately funded clients with practical nutrition strategies designed around their health, abilities, preferences, routines and personal goals.

Nutrition Support Designed Around the Whole Person

Nutrition can be influenced by disability, medical conditions, sensory needs, communication, daily routines, culture, food access and a person’s relationship with food. That is why our Dietitians look beyond generic meal plans. We take the time to understand each client’s nutritional needs, health concerns, living environment, preferences and goals. We then develop realistic strategies that can be implemented in everyday life. From our base in Piara Waters, we provide Dietetics services across Perth, including support in homes and other appropriate community settings.

Ready to Take the Next Step

Award-Winning Feeding Support

U & A Homecare was recognised as the 2025 WA Disability Support Awards Winner for Excellence in Innovation for developing a child-led, sensory-based model of feeding support for children with autism. Our approach recognises that complex feeding challenges are rarely addressed by simply telling someone what to eat. We consider sensory preferences, communication, confidence, routines, the mealtime environment and the individual’s relationship with food.

Discuss Feeding Support

An Integrated Allied Health Approach

At U & A Homecare, Dietetics can be coordinated with Occupational Therapy and Therapy Assistant support where appropriate.

This 360-degree approach considers the relationship between nutrition, sensory regulation, daily function, food preparation, mealtime routines and independence.

A Dietitian may develop nutritional and feeding recommendations while an Occupational Therapist addresses sensory or functional barriers. A Therapy Assistant may then help the client practise agreed strategies consistently in everyday settings.
